RAISING MORALE
Thanksgiving Activities
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanksgiving is a "morale boosting holiday" because morale skyrockets when people focus on gratitude.
Here are several ideas for activities.
Cover a long table with a roll of paper. Put a set of colored felt tip pens in a container on the table. Employees list or draw pictures of the things they are grateful for. After everyone has had a chance to contribute, tack the "Gratitude Mural" to the wall for all to see.
Have a Thanksgiving Tasting Party. People bring in copies of their favorite Thanksgiving recipes with samples for others to taste. (For a FREE copy of a most delicious cranberry bread recipe e-mail Harriet@ConfidenceCenter.com)
Have a "Thank You" letter writing campaign writing "Thank You" letters to people who do service to the community - Policemen, Firemen, Postal workers, Sanitation workers, etc. So many people contribute so much to our daily quality of life. Call first to find out where and to whom to address the letters.

BUILDING CONFIDENCE
Do a Good Deed
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A great way to raise your own confidence is to do a good deed for someone every day without expecting anything in return. That way you get the true joy of giving. It's even better if the person doesn't know who did the good deed.
Start by making a list of the people at work and in your personal life that you can do the good deeds for. You'll soon discover that giving not only makes your life more meaningful, it's also lots of fun.
