RAISING MORALE
Presidents Day Celebration
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since the 19th is Presidents day and this week is Presidents Week, plan a contest to see who knows the names of the most presidents. Announce the winner at a meeting and show a list with the names of all 43 presidents - a picture of each would even be better. For patriotic prizes, hand out pictures of Washington on a $1 bill, Lincoln on a $5 bill, and Jackson on a $20 bill. Have a patriotic cake, and play patriotic music.

RAISING MORALE
Guess Who?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Idea contributed by Jerri Smith at EDS
Employees make acrylic shadow boses filled with personal items that reflect their hobbies, interests, or families, but without names or photos. Hang the boxes on the walls and have employees try to figure out from the contents who made each box.

BUILDING CONFIDENCE
Good Posture Makes A Difference
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you stand and sit with good posture, you come across as more confident and you also feel more confident. Here's an easy way to remember to have good posture:
1. Stand up and raise your arms high and then make a wide circle as if you are "greeting the world"
2. Push your shoulders down and make sure your chin is level
3. Tighten your tummy muscles
4. SMILE
Hold this position while you count slowly to 10. This easy posture exercise only takes a few seconds. Do it at least five times during the day, and you will feel and look more confident.
